“No One Like You” by SB

March 29, 2006

And we too - will it not be soft and kind
That rest from life, from patience and from pain
That rest from bliss, we know not when we find
How can I have enough of life and love

In your eyes are my secrets that I’ve never shown you
In my heart I feel I’ve always known you
In your arms there’s a comfort that I never knew
You’re what I’ve been waiting for, there’s no one like you

Sure as the sunrise, pure as a prayer
You fashioned hope right out of thin air
Ev’ry dream I abandoned, seems it could come true
I believe in miracles, there’s no one like you

Innocent as a newborn in a world so fright’ning
It’s as if my world’s been struck by lightning
Ev’ry dream I abandoned, seems it could come true
I believe in miracles, there’s no one like you

To my hannah: i adore you, i dream of you more than anybody.

Disappointment..

March 28, 2006

daniel dragged me to watch nus jazz band concert on sunday which i thought was rather disappointing. but the singers were fantastic, in particular, joey and hannah, my favourite amongst the rest! porter’s compositions were pretty much boring and the pieces sounded almost the same. bacarach’s pieces were much more exciting; i kinda feel that the whole stream of songs that the band played for the 2nd half seems to tell me a story about a frivolous wanderer; and the vocalists put themselves into each and every piece of bacarach’s and therefore deserve my applause and ovation. in fact, i thought diana or rachelle did covers for some of them :]

hannah: you’re the most captivating performer i’ve ever seen and your jazzy voice has so much of its own that there is something remarkable about its colour that mesmerises me and puts you in the front of all the other performers. you’re the greatest!

yesterday on my way home, i came out of my lift on the 9th floor (i lived on the 8th) and noticed that there were foreign workers loitering around on the stairs in between the floors, and of course i became more vigilant and tried to sneak up to them to see what they were doing. one of the guys saw me and decided to run away with the others. this is fishy so i wrote a letter to my town council regarding this and in it was:

Hi, I’ve noticed that my block, 468 at jurong west st. 41 has recently seen an increase of foreign workers (i believe are blangadeshis and thais) loitering at the void deck and at stairs in between floors. it is especially very disturbing to see a bunch, unfamiliar to most residents here, behaving furtive. i seek your kind attention to this situation, in particular, where safety and security of the residents are concerned. it is therefore crucial for your management team to look into this matter asap, for it will greatly influence the friendly neighbours’ votes and mine of course. thank you.

they better look into this matter soon. i don’t wanna be targetted, robbed or raped.

few hours later, am GLAD they replied and guess what i received this:
We are looking into the matter and will reply to you in due course.

WTF? i’m absolutely sure i’ll get a reply -_-. arrrgh.

have you actually heard timmy sing before? OMG.. yes you heard me right! he sinnnnnggss!! & very good! came along in front of my cubicle this mornin’ and sang few lines of a song! wahahaha.. i literally froze and smirked at him, “err are you okae?” then he started telling me how tired he was yesterday he slept at 8.30. o.O! O.o! WA HAHA.. very interesting boss! ^.^ oh background music i was playin’ then was madonna’s frozen. -_-.

and hurray! i’m like 80% done with my contents for apr’s ehm! :D

NUS Wind Symphony Concert & Ktv

friday. joined weng kin and shuying at the university cultural centre to watch the nus wind symphony concert titled inTempo 2006 accelarando as part of the nus arts festival r&r 2006. daniel got us tickets, and his parents too, for seats that were relatively far away from the stage, as a result we couldn’t see daniel until the lights came on and their first piece began. but me knowing him for like hmm.. 7 years? since sec 3.. how could i not recognise his qian bian face from afar lol. daniel will always be my talent soloist on his tenor sax, but sadly, no solo parts tat night.

before the intermission, the symphony’s special guest mr. fredi sonderegger did a fantastic job on his trombone!! OMG seriously, never have i in my entire life heard someone play with so much emotions and energy and he, having performed with groups like la fenice and concerto vocale which are 2 of the greatest orchestras around, i thought hey man, this guy can really do his thing! he’s currently in the SSO as their associate professor trombone. he performed with the symphony on the piece with several movements - the colours of the trombone - red, orange and blah; couldn’t quite catch what the guy emcee said -_- but nevertheless good stuff!

dan: just one comment, the drummer in ponytail for 2nd half was terrible - so weak! mo sek fan isit? i prefer the other one who really did a great job on the drums a.k.a president to the ponytail.

saturday. was gu ma’s birthday but decided to join my office colleagues for ktv instead (at the expense of my gu ma’s famous yummy chicken curry!). joined david, jeff, stan, liwei, jiahao, kelvin, guojie, ah long & beng for a whole 3 hours singing and singing.. so much fun! haha. here are some of my comments:

david has a voice stretchable to reach high notes but lacks control. jeff can definitely sing but needs to be more confident and sing into the mic! stanley a.k.a. honey has a very nice gentleman voice which has potential to develop further - in fact other than guojie, i think he has one of the best speaking voices around.. YES IT’S TRUE! liwei is forever trying to reach unreachable notes lol but good job! he can handle fast numbers that i never can.. jiahao, the quiet and reserved individual who’s probably shy to sing into the mic, impressed me with his tenor voice and song classics he has chosen; given good training, his voice can develop. sitting next to me was kelvin, who has a baritone colour similar to andy lau’s if he sings lower.. better control than liwei. guojie again i must emphasise he has a super nice manly voice, just that his pitch was heywire and his range is limited. much much more training is desired. ah long is a hidden talent and sounds quite like me when he sings on the lower notes. ah beng’s voice is crisp and clear but lacks velocity and vocal strength otherwise he too can develop any song well. as for me, i think my vocals have improved over the past few years but i definitely got to work a lil’ more on pitch..

songs i sang during ktv (i need this for my musical reasons haha):

take me to your heart.
we belong together.
the return of the condor heroes (chin & canto)
when you say you love me. geez it’s a challenge to sing this!
wei yi.
she.
open arms.
the reason.
heartbreaker.
tong hua.
love me.
britney spears.. omg..
frozen.

we were all hungry after ktv and went for roti prata at a nearby coffee house. ordered for myself 2 gosong, 1 egg and a honeydrew juice, thereafter we were on our separate ways home.. i had a great time :D

i’ll post some pics here soon.. very lazy to upload from hp to laptop now lol

sunday. woke up at 11 plus and i’ll prob slack for the whole day. anytime soon it’ll be raining; guess i have to cancel my swimming plans.. but it’s okae! i’m going for another concert tonight! wahahaha… weee~

Office Drama & Weight Inspiration

March 23, 2006

Drama-rama. What an upsetting week it has been in office lately. Conflicts and friction amongst colleagues. endless bitching and backstabbing. cheating and hurting of feelings. why why why.. why can’t there be peace? why can’t everyone be neutral towards each other? i treat all my colleagues as friends except 1 or 2 who are basically neandertharls and every day when i look forward to go to camp, i want to see people, i want to see smiles, laughter and friends congregating, talking jokes and going to canteen breaks and just basically, having a wonderful time together.. somehow these weren’t happening the past few days, in fact, on a bigger picture, months already. in particular, i want to point out one issue here abt cheating. everyone knows it isn’t the right thing to do, but still there are some fuckers who exist and clearly, there’s one in my office. not surprising he’s being ostracised by many people in office for the character that he portrays and a fucked-up attitude he gives people. but fortunately, i haven’t come to have any conflicts with him and neither do i wish i have any in the next 10 mths or so. he respects me and i respect him. that’s all i care. and to me, he’s an acquaintant. no more than that. and for what he had done to my dear friend (you know who you are), it’s totally unforgivable.

you asked me what you should do about the whole incident. sorry i answered you “i don’t know”. i’m trying to help but at the same time, i have no right to interfere in your business. if you could solve it between you and him, then it’s a mutual settlement that i can be happy about. but now that things have changed, frankly speaking i kinda object to your decision to blow it up. but at the same time, i’m quite supportive of what you are doing. you are telling these cheaters that you are not to be trifled with. and remember my friend, being easily bullied does not necessarily mean you’re weak or anything… i can tell you i am easily bullied and manipulated and i get cheated at times too! people of our kind tend to be TOO NICE towards people that we don’t realise that there are cunning bastards out there trying to take advantage of you..

today saw yet another upsetting incident. boss was pissed when he saw one of my colleagues sleeping during office hours and heavily gave him 3 extras. at that time he was with a visitor so it’s understandable why boss did it. if the visitor has a higher appointment than my boss then how would it reflect on our office’s handling of discipline if this visitor tells it to a BIGGER boss? how would my boss answer then? oh well~..

on timmy. he’s such a nice boSS! i love him. though it isn’t quite ‘pleasant’ sniffing things under his armpit and seeing him digging his nose in front of me, he’s so much more approachable, helpful and easy-going compared to my previous boss. and erm i was quite taken aback when he asked me at X’s cubicle this morning,

timmy: what do you think of X?
me: erm.. why do you ask that sir?
timmy: no la juz jokin’.. cos anyway i’m going to ask him what he thinks of you too haha..
me: oh ok..

i was definitely hesistant about bitching behind X’s back. i didn’t answer him. but i did say, after a few seconds of pause, i just can’t work with him. it’s something about his working style i guess…

timmy: you tryin’ to say about his character?
me: guess so.. why sir do you ask? is it obvious to you that we can’t get along well?
timmy: YES! it’s so obvious. right from the start i came into office - the first few days i could see.. the body language, the ignoring, and all that..
me: ohh.. yes it’s true but i’m not asking you to judge him or anything based on what i said cos it’s not fair to him and to you, but i need to tell you the truth cos it’s gonna affect me greatly in our work.. so.. yea..
timmy: yea. fam told me all about it.
me: like~?
timmy: he told me to find out for myself..
me: oh ok.. but i guess it’s just me..
timmy: nono.. just curious.. what actually happened?
me: nothing really but on a few occasions, i get pissed by what he does. *tells him all about the chocolate incident*.

timmy: don’t worry i’m not biased towards anyone just wanna know you guys better..
me: okae =)

and finally my EHM is done! gawd.. it took like .. 8 times to make amendments.. EHM phobia -_-.

on a happier note, i went for a swim with leicester and ben. and i completed 10 laps = 20 breaths. and cool the pool’s 3m deep in the middle! did a few awesome attempts to touch the base and ended up ear pain lol. eh 10 laps leh.. give some applause man!! richie = 10 laps.. amazing!! wooHOO!!

all that, and still weighing a fucking 95 kg.

5 kg gain from the first day i stepped into office.
not anymore.. anthony made 1 BIG comment during afternoon’s tea break that kinda got me dazed and thinking…

“richie, doc kev and i were discussing yesterday and said that ah.. if you don’t have your tummy right, you would look perfect.. cos hor your body is proportionate already and you will look good lor if not for your tummy”..

heard that?!
“YOU WOULD LOOK PERFECT”
GAWD..
perfect..

i double confirmed with anthony.. “u sure?”
“no hahaha.. not perfect… you will look good.. good lar”

-________-
watever.. tat’s my inspiration and motivation.
that was how it got me to lift my ass and hit the pool thereafter.

Ms Koh & Yummie Dinner :D

March 19, 2006

ms koh, my ex-econs lecturer asked me out for lunch this afternoon but i had to turn her down cos’ mummy had started cooking. thereafter i received the following sms from her which i believed it was sent to most of her beloved ex-students as well:

“my sweet soul! must bother u. some bs (business) students are organising a charity concert in aid of the Children’s Charities. in the midst of global and local distresses, to know that there are still caring students around certainly warms the cockle of my heart. i know you are a warm, sensible, sweet soul who can sing or compere. may i request your assistance to sing at this concert- to spread the msg of LOVE. the lecturer in charge is mr. leow. may i have him to contact u to give more details? any of yr other friends can help too? god bless.”

gawd i simply love ms koh. her wits, knowledge, enthusiasm, her everything has made her a favourite lecturer amongst business students. and imo, she’s the most humble, helpful, and sweetest teacher i’ve ever met! i remembered the first tutorial she locked me out of the classroom cos’ i was late (serves me right -_-), and in the 2nd tutorial she bought me mrs field’s muffins? wtf? i couldn’t exactly get her gesture or intention but, from that moment on, i knew instantly she was a different and an extraordinary person who would treat her students well if and only if you could prove yourself (and to her) that you could be oustanding. and regarding that sms, i don’t know.. i’d love to help by singing or hosting but.. singing.. haiz.. though my vocals are better than in previous years, but it’s the thought of going up on stage which would trigger the bad experience i had during singapore idol. haiz.. i dunno why.. i used to be confident going up on stage hosting, acting and singing and everytime, it turns out magical.. but now.. sigh :(

anyway, so i missed my lunch which~ could be a treat from ms koh lol. ah well never mind~.

in the afternoon, i went to:

buy breadtalk.
buy new shaver.
buy chocolates.
take my ties for gj.
buy baguettes.

and drove gj for yet another hogging session at breko’s at holland v.
let’s sum up what we had:

i had a smoked turkey ham chez avocado sandwich, a muchata z’art baked potato & cups of ice water. he had a squity shrimp pasta, the smoked turkey ham chez avocado sandwich & cups of ice water.
and we both share a huge basket of potato wedges.

bill: $33.20.
cheap for what we had! no service charge!! no extra gst or tax!! basically most of the time we had to self-service, we bill at counter, we collect our ice water etc etc.. and their menu’s fantastic!! lots of choices till you’re bonkers. like under bites, they have like what.. erm.. potato wedges, french fries, golden squid, fried wings, onion rings, honey wings, chicken nuggets and whatnot.

ambience: B+, we didn’t exactly have good seats but i had a tv in front of me and erm.. the temperature for the dining setting was perfect. not too cold not too warm. just nice~. tables and chairs were ordinary but clean and neatly arranged.

conclusion: a gd place to hang out with friends or alone for casual reading. gd food at very reasonable prices. even gj’s psychology lecturer, dr swarovski was there reading an essay. geez tat shall be my hangout next time if i need a cosy place to chill out or do my work. if i study in nus that is.

after that drove gj to jurong east so he could get to his cousin’s funeral by 9.30 and then came home.

… a nice way to end my weekend :)

my baked potato

gj enjoying his pasta. yummeh!!!!!

my wedges with salsa sauce.

On the Topic of Suayiosity

March 18, 2006

I was watchin’ National Geographic earlier on and was caught by the segment on ants. This reminded me of a documentary I caught on Channel 5 on sunday if my memory serves me right.

This show was about all the different species of pests. and so there was this segment on fire ants, and they interviewed this dude who went hunting alone one day.

Not only did he not manage to catch anything, he also happened to swoon and fall and break his leg or something.
And he fell next to an adult-camel-lump-sized fire anthill.

That is just the suayness. Poor fella.
He ended up with like a few hundred fire ant-bites. OUCHy WAwa.
zambuck, tiger balm and bites-cream manufacturers are sure to be happy. -_-

OMFG MY LAPTOP IS DAMN SLOW LA..
as i type, it lags for 1 sec for an alphabet to appear on screen. tmd.

Blog-blematic Issues & Timmy

credits to i.ph for its extensive blog features and user-friendliness, but they ought to do something about giving better service like providing web caching. my blog seems to load freakin’ slow, doesn’t it? i think it’s eating into my ram albeit i haven’t received any negative feedback about slow loading from my visitors. i’ve tried to apply a simpler harem background and stick to 5 blog items a page so it doesn’t get frustrating waiting for the page to load. to a point, i thought of switching my blog to blogspot. argh nvm. forget it. just wait lor.

back in office, the ever inquisitive and curious timmy’s been nice so far- he gives everyone he meets a wide grin that can make one’s heart melt. just 3 weeks into his new job, he has received incessant amounts of arrows to which he would write them down on a piece of post-it in an organised fashion. this is something not common of fammy- he remembers every single arrow in his mind. and my goodness, boy does this timmy whine!! acting way far too different from his years, he acts like a lil’ child crying for mama when he gets plentiful shit to handle. like how he whines in front of me at the photocopier: “richiee…. argh waaa ahHHh”. fammy was there, flabbergasted by his ways of expressing exasperation. he wasn’t stressed.. it’s the short period of HOTO that he’s being ’sorta’ forced to adapt quickly to his job scope. having said this, he’s been staying up almost everyday in office to complete his work and then returns to office the next day at 6 am to finish his work. if he goes on like this before he gets out of army, i’m very sure his personal life would get affected. or shall i say, no outside life. poor him. shall buy some chocolates or sth..

fammy needs to understudy timmy on provisions of BETTER welfare for fellow men; at the very least, show affection and care towards me, james, and blah blah people. we need them >.<

Happy 22 to Gj.

March 14, 2006

it feels gd after munching on some cheddar and sour cream ruffles ;) OH SHIT it’s my 2nd pack this week. die die.. must donate some to family.. but maybe not entirely.. i’m still counting on ruffles to salvage my pangs of hunger later in the night>.<

thankfully my ehm is completed and i can finally relax ^.^ gawd.. now thinking of starting next month’s issue’s a headache..

celebrated guojie’s birthday on saturday with stanley, liwei, beng and anthony. i really do hope he’s happy.. i’m sure he was from the way he went berserk and high like overdose with cocaine during our ktv session. bought him a small tiramisu cake from bakerzin and 2 gifts - a britishindia shirt and a crumpler pouch- both amounted up to quite a sum but hey, it’s once a year and considering he looka like a man. oops nono.. he’s one impeccable gem friend i could possibly have.. it was a non-stop 2.5 hrs eating at yuki yaki with a spread no different from seoul garden ‘cept they do serve sushi, yummy salmon cheese sticks and dory fishes and the DIY icecream and oh yea, free flow of juice! all for $23.90..where can you get such great deals?! but then again, liwei and anthony were saying y.y wasn’t fantastic, but i say the bottom line is we’re here for simple meal celebration, and gj hasn’t been to y.y..it’s the company that matters as beng puts it, and that’s very true.. OH yes yes, the butter facial.. haha stanley..

after dinner, gj, liwei and i went to watch date movie LOL. really no comments on this one.. we went in late and while walking along the aisle lookin’ for our seats, we could hear the entire theatre laughing and laughing. nonstop. seizures. different tones and colours of guffaws. one sitting behind us got so engrossed into the scenes he started repeating lines and mimicking some of the characters in the show. what an asshole. hey stan.. thx for the warning but heck! we really did enjoyed ourselves LOL. after the movie was ard 9.30 pm and shops have closed. anthony, beng and stan were at PS, and we were just lingering ard the cine area and heerens being the next building across the road, i decided to psycho them to accompany me to hmv lol. classical section saw several CDs going on sale and i so badly want the “renee fleming” dvd, bugged them to share and buy for me and i got a “chee sin” in return. diao.. heh.

10.30 pm - thirsty. so gj suggested we go tcc. full house! so we headed to starbucks at specialist shopping centre. sat there, ordered chips, mocha, cocoa and rhumba and chatted into the night.. till it was midnight we thought of catching the last train home.. until liwei..

“eh wo hen xiang chang ktv leh”
“hah? i’m ok de” - me
“haha si liao mummy will ma si wo de haha 2 nights go home so late haha, i’m okae one! :D - gj (he had a celebration on friday too)

decision? YES!! so walked to dynasty ktv!!..
along the way i was quite worried i couldn’t sing.. i kinda lost my vocals the past 2 weeks you see.. but was hopin’ I could back on form.. and they did! i gave the best performances yet ever.. =D in fact according to my friend who’s also a singer, she said that my voice is developing over the years and it also depends on how you sing that could ‘better’ or ‘harm’ your vocals. apparently my vocals are better than before; all the training was worth it (:

when we were walking towards paradiz centre, we saw this huge building “CATHAY” still under construction opposite SMU, and yes!! we can now watch movies at this huge cinema possibly the biggest in singapore :D weee! lucky smu’ers.

at the ktv, guojie was near gone case- started laughing and laughing (at liwei’s jokes of cos!) and beating the couches, pulling my shirt pleading me to teach him how to sing blahblah.., snapping pics with his w550i, standing with the mic and literally singing into the mic and dancing!! man.. he got damn high!! it’s the first time i’ve seen him got that crazy.. and liwei, as usual trying forever to reach unreachable notes and selecting a whole bunch of mandarin fast tracks (no wonder gj was grooving and shaking. tat night was hell one saturday night fever..

finished at 3 am and home we went! tired but enjoyable and more importantly, my dear friend is happy. =D

sunday was helping leilan’s friend with a marketing report.. gawd.. i didn’t know university project requirements were so damn hard to meet. obviously they were soOO different from those i had in poly where the lecturers didn’t have much expectations. nevertheless, i worked hard, did my research and applied some of my knowledge to the report plus the fact that i did remember how to work out a projected p/l statement, setup establishment costs and projected b/s haha, makes the entire financials part quite impressive! i think >.<. took me 2 days to complete the entire report…

relatively peaceful in office yesterday and today, cos most of my colleagues were on course and out of camp. and i couldn’t be much happier to have timmy’s amusing speeches to entertain me LOL
weeeee~..

here are some pics:

“eeee liwei, your shirt got butter”..

                                      “noooooo…”

    ”yyeeessssssss…..”

stanley agrees with me these weren’t nice at all lol

    yuki yaki’s DIY ice-cream.

liwei: sianz.. chi shen mo ice cream la..
anthony: eh beng, later bu yao gei ta chi
beng: okok..

see how gj locks his fingers :)

nice ktv room! the lights, the sofas everything! perfect!

“dudes!! bo jio me squash hug together!!”

Deliriously Weird Things..

March 7, 2006

deliriously weird.
just when all the things don’t come about right.

i’m alighting at lakeside, not until i realised i boarded the wrong train; “toot toot toot toot. doors closing. next stop clementi. -__-.
made a reverse trip.
had kfc which i wasn’t intending to have. i was thinking of macdonalds on the train -__-.
exit block lift on the wrong floor -__-.
at that time i wish i had chairs to sit on cos i was awfully shagged out- had to drag every single footstep.

today in office.. it seems a bad day for some people here. leicester was pissed for having flung his dental ffi for his overseas training. it was dentist’s recommendation to have all his wisdoms extracted. poor him :s he had so much wanted to pass it and get out of singapore. busy jiahao’s juggling between answering o.h calls and meeting mashie’s demands. and time and time again i’m questioned by fammy for my ehm lol.

during lunch i hit the gym along with several other guys. i took on the stepping strider for an exhausting 30 minutes and lost a total of 200 calories in the 3.8 km that i achieved. not a bad start i thought. then here and there i was like exploring and trying out the other equipment- i didn’t even know what i was doing sometimes- just staring at punchbags, experimenting with circuit training balls and pilates equipment, walking ard the spacious well-lit gym finding out how the others were doing blah blah.. most of the time i was in my own world looking dazed.. and benjamin, sweaty and filthy insisted only on going home afterwards to shower. yuks!!

gawd this week’s not moving.. it’s so slow.. i hate it.!!
and w.r.t to the resolution i made about watching 4 movies per month, i DID not actually achieve it in feb. but it’s okae. i have brokeback, underword 1 and 2 (evolution), momma’s house, proof that are waiting for me at home =P

it’s all abt the merits of juche..

March 4, 2006

gawd, it’s been some time since i’ve last blogged. apologies!

the past week went by quickly and lots of things were happening and these include incidents that came about in office and the social activities i was engaging in. i was quite busy during mid-week at work, but nevertheless i could still relax a lil’, smile & joke like my usual self and welcome some new personnel into our wonderful office :)

i like timmy (replacing fammy) and my new csm so far.

new csm: symmetrical and chiselled facial features, fit & sturdy, fierce commando looks, tall and atheletic built, short 4by2 hairstyle, mature.

character/personality-

timmy: friendly, weird, introvert at most times, no airs, quiet, calm,
old csm: humble, thrifty, bo chap, slack, pms at times, crappy, introvert most of the time, kind, satisfied.
new csm: thinks fast, loud, on the ball, garang, intelligent, knowledgeable, gd at psychoing and manipulations, no crap, pays attention to details, regimental.

quotable quotes/words-
fammy: cock, freak, wa lau, you’re the man, brother, dude
timmy: only a faint cb was heard (when the LCD monitor died on him) wuahhaha.
old csm: fuck, cb, nb, knn, the list goes on.. once during lunchtime he said, ah fu we go karaoke afternn. let’s go let’s go!

yesterday’s advancing day was great fun! during lunch ma’am lee wanted to hear song from me cos it was her birthday. well it turned out to be a disappointment. i din perform well. it wasn’t my day i guess. it was one of the worst performances i’ve ever given. man if i have a chance again, i’ll make sure i’ll do my best and redeem myself. morning was basically having teambuilding games playing traffic light & octopus and afternn was getting into the serious part on round and square wheels- discussing abt things we like and dislike in our working environment. of cos most of us selected sucky cuisine lol. during our performance showtime, we presented 2 items- a song presentation from ben and james with ‘best i ever had’ unplugged and a laughing session for 20 secs LOL. everyone was in a circle, stared at each other and just laughed.. the other groups were laughing too i saw but i’m sure there were some who were thinking wtf? lame and dumb performance. i say u go eat dung. we kick ass. laughter is the best medicine and the best preventive measure to all illnesses. so f off lol. i was getting high tat evening.. and during lucky draw i won myself the 2nd prize- an applegate 128mb mp3 player. yippee!!

came home and rest a for awhile before heading down to orchard to join guojie for yet another hogging session. this time round we went to pasta cafe at taka and tucked into lovely dishes of spaghetti (i had chicken with diluted tomato sauce and his was chicken linguinie with creamy sauce), french fries and desserts. his tiramisu was good, mine was fucked up stingy-portioned blackforest. C+..

met up with leilan after the dinner so we could go have some drinks. it was his birthday so i bought him a shirt! glad he liked it. i felt quite bad throughout the night. he was planning to have his party together with his medic friends and bmt friends at chinablack or MOS, but cos he knows that i don’t like clubbing, he was willing to postpone or cancel the event just so he could cater to my suggestion of going to a pub instead. we went harry’s @ orchard. gawd.. so bad so bad.. >_<..

am so not lookin forward to camp next monday. argh.
