me: architecture
fam: WAH.. architecture.. eeh it’s more difficult than medicine (looks at me and smiles) u noe..
me: O.O
fam: haha ok.. gd luck!!
me: heh.. -_x.

so today i took a day off so I could get down to NUS to submit my application. It was all a last minute thing and the whole morning was me rushing to get my documents photocopied. Application closes at 2pm and i was worried they might close early for lunch. So dad willingly lends me his car to use and along AYE, it just came to my mind what mash said yesterday about living your dreams, choosing your career, bringing your passion into whatever you like to do.. i told him i applied for architecture. he replied go for it dude!! his words of encouragement have made me believe in myself for that moment that I shall stick by my decision to read architecture. it coincides with my interests and my personality. as dad said to me last week, reading architecture is not easy yes, but with your build of discipline and goal-achieving mindset, you shall not fall easily into failure trenches and into negative advices people give. stick to your intuition and i’m sure with your independent working style, sitting down for hours drawing, playing with AUTOCAD (a software used for designing models) should not be at all something you couldn’t / wouldn’t do. with that, i placed architecture as my 1st choice,

2nd: geography
3rd: computing
4th: chemical engineering
5th: business administration

waiting for my results in a month’s time.
wish me luck! =D
