How fucked up can my morning be…
me: (dumps my project.sac bag and peugeot black document folder on fammy’s chair) hi james..
james: hi eh richie.. (while i’m taking out my laptop and trying to connect it to fammy’s cpu speaker).. do you have the final scores for the quarterly report?
me: (still figuring out the connections) yarh i think i have it’s with me but i dun have camp XXX scores yet.. must wait for sphi to return before i can give you..
james: hey rich come here for a while.. (me walks to his cube and sees screen) how do i calculate this average?
me: oh you must do this do that (teaches him how to get to the average; quite a tedious process)
james: (gives me a pathetic face) wa lau.. must do like tat ah.. eh u do la can..
me: =_______________=.. ok loh. (WTF, IT’S YOUR FUCKING JOB U LAZY DWEEB!)
james: eh sorry leh..
me: =_______________= (takes my chicken rice with the results to sphi’s cube and starts mind-boggling procedures, !!pissed!!)
james: (goes to the back from his cube and chills)
me: (cursing and swearing while digging into my rice)
[after 15 mins]
me: (goes to fammy’s cube and inserts his XX card, types slowly letter for letter in the text field)
computer: beep! “the system could not log on. an incorrect pin was entered”.
me: (wtf?!! damn it!! don’t tell me he changed his pw! it was then it suddenly struck me that fammy did had his pw resetted before!! and it may not be the same pw again!) SHIT!!
ben: o.O, O.o
me: (went over to james).. hey james you know fammy’s pw? he had his resetted last time and i believe he has a new one. a different one. you know?
james: err.. dun think so.. why leh? if i’m not wrong.. it’s quite long and has a few numbers at the back.. i’m not sure (puts a fearful pathetic leer on his face again x____x!)
me: (me starts to panic and decides to SMS fammy no matter where he is in this world, cos it’s urgent.. apparently he instructed me to retrieve all the documents on his desktop for the audit check on 24th! and fuck i remembered he’d only be back in feb!! FUCK!!!!!!) rushes fingers on my nokia keypad.
james: why why what happened? (continues messaging and replies a sad nothing)
[15 mins passed and fammy replied]
fammy: how many times have you tried? never xceed 3 times. E password is XXXXXXXX.etc.. can ask cindy 4 help if u r not sure.
me: (immediately input the pw)
computer: beep! “the system has been locked, etc.. (can’t exactly but it was different from the first msg)
me: WTF!? shit.. oh shit……. (blanks out in front of screen) ben ben.. come and see.. what’s this?
ben: (comes over) oh 1 more time and u get blocked. erm wait.. (calls for his boss), erm sir, the last time u tried to log out and log in again is it more than 3 times? (me continues to panic and feels scared)
vernon (sir): nope.. u try log out, switch it off, unplug all sockets and re login again.. it shd reset to 0 tries..
ben’s boss: (baffled) oh isit? shit!! i didn’t know..
me: (trying hard to EVEN smile cos of ben’s boss’s amusing expression, but failed) okok let me try again..
me: (tries to enter pw again, taking the risk, reminding myself that this is my 3rd try of the day. if failed..that’s it)..
computer: beep! “the system is now locked. your card is now blocked” (sth of that sort)
me: DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FUCK SHIT!!! (immediately calls “men shen (door god)” over for help)
men shen: woAH!! richie!! hin ah hin ah (faint in hokkien).. wa richie hen ma fan de leh.. must go thru’ XXX, YYY and ZZZ (highest approving authority).. last time AAA and the who BBB also like this.. wa hin ah hin ah..
me: wa men shen.. thx loh tat helps T_T
me: (SMS fammy) erm sir the card got blocked. the pw u gave me is also invalid. i’m really sorry.. i’ll try to get it fixed.. really sorry..
so now what happens is this:
i was the one that caused the entire shit of card being blocked after 3 unsuccessful tries. and men shen has warned me that even the request for pw reset may not even be approved because of ZZZ, + the fact that fammy is not around and that his signature is needed for processing.. plus i’ll get fucking screwed by ZZZ if she knows that i am trying to be funny and log on to fammy’s a/c..
so now solution:
black blowfish’s boss takes the rap.. =_______= with a reason stating that he’s obliged to cover his duties and that he needs to check the email and get docs for audit.. now the thing is.. i felt, at that pt, very very guilty.. and very very sorry.. i went to say sorry to black blowfish’s boss many many times.. and men shen was telling me not to be afraid.. ZZZ will understand.. cos they are close colleagues (like decoy lol) so it’s understandable that things may not go smoothly..
big BOSS knows abt this too. @_@
fammy: (replies in his SMS) Oh dear tt sucks. Nvm it’s okie. quickly let men shen knoe. Ask her 2 get approval 4 resetting my password c help from e other sos and let YYY knoe.
How I felt abt the whole thing:
I’m at least relieved that men shen was there to help me and that fammy is not angry with me.. but i’m still worried about black blowfish’s boss covering me.. and i just hope…….really hope that the pw can be resetted before 24th so I can retrieve the docs for audit check.. and ZZZ is not ard until dunnoe when..
I am really really scared and worried.. small issue u may say but to me it’s a mistake that i’ve made and i’ve caused someone’s reputation to be affected.. i am so guilty… damn the rule of 3 tries and u get locked out. fuck.
pray for the best.. if can’t get the pw resetted by 24th.. i’m so screwed. DOOMed. the ruin of me in pmb. @_@
