The thing about umbrellas. Beneficial yet inconvenient. It creates so much hassles that I hate bringing umbrellas. I admit. I can’t be bothered. I mean like, taking it out and keeping it (wet!).. so troublesome.. but given the weather these days, guess I have to start bringing one. Argh.
The journey home the past few days were horrible. No umbrella. 15 mins walk from Lakeside to my block. Face already f***ing oily and dirty. Plus the following:
Train commuters squeezing.
Air-con in the train not working. Wtf? I was sweating.
And bizarre stares by the public (how sua gu can the aunties get? Never seen a handsome man in military attire? lol)
Visualise. Put yourself in my shoes.
= Absolute shit.
What the weather did to me: It made me fucking pissed.
That’s not it.
Mr Gary, Kok Wei and Leicester met with an accident yesterday. All suffered minor injuries (chest pain, neck strains etc) caused by the impact. I was worried for them both physically and psychological. It’s hard to identify how much internal suffering and trauma an accident can cause a person to be emotionally claustrophobic and shocked. Thank god they were ok, except for Mr Gary. He was teary.. for all that befell upon him.
I’m not too sure about how the accident came about, but I heard it was due to inconsideration by a hit-and-run third party. Damn him. And it isn’t just about the road situations I’m sure, it’s the rainy weather that may have caused secondary implications - slippery roads affect a car’s turns and manoveurs and they cause skids.
What the weather (probably) did to the victims: It gave them pain. Both physically and emotionally.
